Gamla Uppsala (Old Uppsala), Sweden. Religious center in the norse mythology. Also the place of Sweden's first archbishopric in 1164. More at Wikipedia.

Thanks! I had a great solo photowalk around the burial mounds today. Old Uppsala is one my favorite places and I'm lucky to live just three miles from it.

It was a very dull day without any details at all in the sky. I made the sky darker and a bit more dramatic in Lightroom. No Photoshop, just RAW.
