SE model – While the sportiest of the Corolla models, the SE is far from an actual sports car. It takes the standard LE model and builds upon it with the choice of a manual six speed transmission or a CVT (“continuously variable transmission”) option. What makes the SE sporty are its alloy 17 inch wheels, black mesh front grille and real spoiler. Car owners will also have an exhaust tipped in chrome, side mirrors with turn indicators and a steering wheel wrapped in leather in the CVT.

The front seats are designed to appear sporty, as are the dashboard gauges. SE models with manual transmissions also feature a sunroof for fine weather driving.
