All models feature rear-wheel drive and adjustable suspension that allows drivers to select between ECO, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ modes.

U.S. News and World Report notes that the cabin of the C-Class is built with “lavish comfort” in mind and ranks it as having the best interior in the small luxury car class. Sedan models seat five passengers, while the cabriolet models seat four. Leatherette upholstery and a power-adjustable driver’s seat are both standard on all trims, along with attractive wood and aluminum furnishings and a sleek, minimal layout. Additional standard features include push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth and HD Radio, two USB ports, a 7-inch display screen, a touchpad controller. Tech fans will also enjoy Mercedes’ mbrace Connect, through which your smartphone serves as a remote for certain vehicle functions.

Drivers who want to upgrade have a wide range of options to choose from, such as a panoramic sunroof, a cabin-air purification system, premium 13-speaker Burmester audio system, satellite radio, integrated Wi-Fi hot spot, and the Mercedes-Benz COMAND infotainment system with an 8.4-inch screen and navigation.

Mercedes sets a new bar for safety features within the luxury car class, and the C-Class is no exception. All models include active safety features like collision prevention assist, driver drowsiness monitoring, crosswind assist, and Mercedes’ Pre-Safe, which detects vehicle instability and ensures passenger safety by tightening seatbelts and other measures. Drivers who opt for higher trim levels will have the security of additional driver assistance features, including a rearview or surround-view camera, head-up display, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, cross traffic alert, pedestrian recognition, traffic sign recognition, and active park assist.
