NYC Ford Fusion Lease Deals
Manufactured since 2005, the Ford Fusion has gone through two generations of production, with the most recent facelifts taking place in 2010 and currently for 2017. Performance enthusiasts will be attracted to the Fusion’s multiple engine options, while those conscious of fuel efficiency will enjoy gasoline/electric hybrid variants.
The available Fusions are organized by engine type — gasoline, hybrid and the Fusion Energi, a plug-in hybrid model. Within each type of Fusion, there are several trim levels for customers to choose from:
- S (base model, not offered for the Energi)
- Sport (only for gasoline models)
For the most popular Fusions, the gasoline models, customers have four choices. The S and SE are equipped with the standard 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine that makes 175 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of torque. When customers choose the SE, they have two other choices that they can upgrade to for additional fees, both featuring Ford’s EcoBoost technology. The EcoBoost configured engines combine turbocharging, direct injection and twin variable valve timing to enhance performance and efficiency.
- 1.5L EcoBoost: rated at 181 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque
- 2.0L EcoBoost: rated for 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque
The 2.0L EcoBoost comes standard on the Titanium and Platinum trim levels. The Sport trim offers the most powerful engine in the Fusion lineup: a twin-turbo, 6-cylinder 2.7L EcoBoost with impressive power ratings – 325 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque for plenty of power handling with some muscle behind it.
AWD is available for the Platinum and Titanium trims and comes standard on the Sport trim. Hybrid offerings for the Fusion include:
- 2.0L inline four-cylinder
- 2.0L inline four-cylinder Energi plug-in
While horsepower is definitely sacrificed for fuel efficiency (both engines make only 141 horsepower), their fuel ratings are impressive for hybrid models, with ratings above 40mpg for both city and highway. The Energi plug-in alone can go 21 miles on electric power only before having to switch over to the engine.
Leasing customers can enjoy cloth, cloth/vinyl, or leather seats depending on the trim level they select. Heated leather seats are standard in the Sport, Titanium and Platinum trims. Moonroofs are standard on the Platinum, but customers can add them on as upgrades for Sport and Titanium trims. Other luxury features of the 2017 Ford Fusion Platinum include:
- 19-inch aluminum wheels
- Heated Steering wheel
- Cooled front seats
- Leather-wrapped instrument panel
- Sport grille
- Advanced safety features including adaptive cruise control and pedestrian detection.
The 2017 Ford Fusion received a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, who conducts independent crash tests to determine how safe vehicles are for consumers. This rating includes front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and hybrid models of the Fusion. It was also named a 2017 Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, another organization that conducts crash tests to evaluate the safety of vehicles.
Customers interested in leasing a 2017 Ford Fusion would be making an excellent choice, as it has a lot to offer in terms of safety, features and performance. Whether you’re looking for a bare bones sedan or one with all the luxurious amenities, the 2017 Ford Fusion is a great option.
