Tonemapped Burnt Home (HDR) |
by zendifferent |
This house - burnt to a crisp first through fire, then through Photoshop and Photomatix - is my official first entry into the realm of Urbex (Urban exploration is the examination of the normally unseen or off-limits parts of urban areas or industrial facilities. Urban exploration is also commonly referred to as "creeping" or infiltration, although some people consider infiltration to be more closely associated with the exploration of active or inhabited sites. In the USA, it may also be referred to as "draining" (when exploring drains) "urban spelunking", and "urban caving", "vadding", "trolling", "building hacking", "reality hacking" or "roof and tunnel hacking".) My location is purposely left out.
All three exposures were locked with these settings:
Camera: Nikon D80
Exposure: 1/80 second
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 10 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV, -1 EV, +1 EV
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm
