Nothing like a quicky? I mean the picture of course. I took it really quick, yeah that's the ticket. Get your mind out of the gutter!

I had to push my lil Cannon S3 IS to the limits to pull this Zooomr inspired shot off. But it came out pretty good I think.

Veterans Memorial Bridge

The bridge is an architecturally significant concrete arch faced with white granite. Conceived in 1928 and finished in 1931, the span is the longest bridge in Rochester at 981 feet. It is 190 feet in height and 106 feet wide. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veterans_Memorial_Bridge_(Rochester,_New_York)

Not the way down

These look harmless enough but the stair steps are actually three to four feet in height. I don't think the City intended to create an easy rout for vandals and homeless to get down the gorge. My best guess is they were some sort of erosion control system, to keep the sidewalk I was shooting from out of the river.

Graffiti

I could not get back far enough to read or even perceive the graffiti from here. 3 feet away was a fence and then a 100 foot drop to the river gorge.

Hijacked!

This is what happens when my 4 year old daughter takes creative control of processing. Thank goodness for non-destructive edits in Aperture :) Not that this is bad at all.... I think she may have a future.
