IMG_7031 So I went down to Rochester's Lower Falls park expecting to shoot these great images of the Falls, that you could only see mist emanating from in my previous black and white bridge shots. I didn't find any spot that I could get an unobstructed view of the falls but I did find this. This is a detail shot of some sort of monument or art piece. It has no label. There are four monolithic (a quatralith?) Black stone pillars with faces and hands carved into them, appearing to be trying to break free in some cases. In the center of the four pieces is a marble block on which it is inscribed "The seat of forgetting and remembering." I wish I had further information on this, I am still searching. More shots of this to come.
