IMG_6526 I believe this must be a statement of the artist about himself, as this was written exactly this way for over 50 feet of railing...

Thanks for your opinion... but I disagree. It was ally between two buildings completely in shadow, and due to all the graffiti, it had a sort of ominous mood as well. I could have punched up the exposure in processing or perhaps used a flash on site, but... this is accurate to the original subject when I took it...

I know, it's probably better now than if you had made it brighter. It just annoys me when photos have no clipped highlights. I need to get over it.

Heh, hey you like what you like, if I took photos to please everyone, or even most I'd probably hate them... :) It probably is "technically" underexposed, but... screw technically. I like it. :D

Funny. And, FWIW, don't think it's underexposed. It might be technically "better" with a bit more contrast, but suspect that would not fit the image. (Also, nice to see something not HDR-ed to death:-)

I havn't made the jump to HDR, I probably will experiment with it this winter, but... just based on the fact that you need three or more exposures to do HDR properly... and the fact that I'm lazy, I doubt It will ever dominate my work :)
