Foreign communication

IMG_5203 An experiment with long exposures from within a moving car. Cindy was driving, I had the camera braced against the visor to try and keep it still. This shot was taken as we were approaching a red light. As you can see the light turned green before we got to it.

That's really cool. I saw a magazine article about this, using tripods looking at the driver. It looked really neat.

It was 'Practical Photography', a UK-based publication. The year was 2005, and as luck would have it, I only just threw the copy out for lack of space the other day. Ho hum! It was just the same technique, but using a tripod to hold the camera in the passenger seat, at wide angle, putting the driver in one corner and filling the rest of the frame with windscreen and wiggly lights. Very effective.
