The sunset from Mevagissey was gorgeous, the view of which many decided to take in. Even this is only a reference; Its true beauty is hard to capture on camera. I've just discovered machine tags, which may make it easier to find photos where I've used filters, if different people I know are in photos, etc. The filter used here is called "Smooth as velvia", and is a Lightroom preset from Xequals. This is virtually untouched, save for the filter. ---------------- This photo marks the end of a stage in my photography life, searching through the archives for photos when my own photography well was running dry. To make myself a better photographer, I know I have to change and make the effort. But it's not just taking the photos. I have learnt a lot in the last few years, but I haven't made as much of an effort to get to know people, commenting on their photos. No excuses for that, everything's about to change.
