Pibb on The Internet Channel (Wii)

A picture of my TV when using Pibb on The Internet Channel (part of the Nintendo Wii). Taken for the good folks at JanRain.

While this was taken within an hour of the clouds clearing up and the sun showing up for the first time that day, it took this much zoom, AND the fact that I'm about 50 feet closer to the edge of the road, in order for the buildings in the distance to actually be visible in a picture.

More snow capped bushes, more snow all over the ground, more dirty snow pushed around by traffic.

This picture would have been better if they hadn't already ripped the flowers out of the middle in the entrance to the doorway. Snow capped trees look pretty enough already, flowers in the brick planter would have only helped further.

These cars weren't shielded from the North-South onslaught of wind and snow, so they're entirely covered. Best part of this picture? Think of how cold the snow is, now add wind chill. How much wind? Look at the flags.

I still swear, if we get a good March snow, I'm SOOOOO going to sled down either the left or right side of this stairway. It's a shame I'm not a snowboarder, I could practice grinding the rail and land on soft snow afterward :).

This space between garage units is supposed to slope downwards...

Still can't see where the cement walkway was... though the road drain is visible.

I'm still wondering why some of the blacktop is visible. The parking lot had not yet been swept, at least not by the apartment employees themselves. It's entirely possible that someone shoveled a bit from their garage outwards.

It's amazing that the windshields weren't completely covered, all things considered.

A ground level shot of the pile of snow. There's supposed to be brush, wood chips, grass, and a cement walkway here. Guess where each of them are?

The hallway must have a very interesting airflow, because whenever we get the slightest amount of snow, it makes its way all the way up the stairs, and usually drifts over the ground significantly. This time however, there wasn't a thin layer, there was an inch on every step, and the drift extended halfway across the floor.

Thankfully the street sweepers had been grooming the roads all night and morning. The roads were at least able to be driven on, while the snow just piled up everywhere around.

A shot of our Patio after a night and morning of snow. The snow drifted in overnight, came down almost all night and lasted during daylight until about noon. Given that this is a covered patio, and we're on the second floor (the middle floor), the snow had to blow around significantly in order to pile up against the wall to this degree. (Not to even mention how it must have come in, in order to cover the grill knobs how it has...)
