This little unit is the heart & soul of the drum kit. All those wires are input and output. Everything goes through this.

This is my electronic drum kit that I got yesterday (10-21-06). It is great for the price so far. Next, I'm going to get a throne (so I can actually play it), and the $50 expansion kit, which will add another tom and a crash cymbal.
