This one for me, though #2 is close behind. Probably because there's nothing to detract from the spikiness.

I agree with Peter, the colors are nice but you really get the feel of the spikes with this version.

I am going to go with this one. I found my eye being drawn more to the spikes and less on the background. I tried it quickly as a B&W and applied a slight blue tint, whilst just stepping up the contrast a touch, but then I think prefer the colder end of the spectrum. Can’t wait to see what’s next. :)
