Marc Levoy, Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Stanford University
Marc is doing some amazing work and is at the forefront of new and upcoming technology in digital photography. Robert Scoble and I interviewed him for an upcoming episode of photwalking. Mark showed us some great prototype technology and does a lot of work with compositional photography -- where multiple images are used to create a single image. HDR is only the beginning with where compositional photography is going and Marc showed us technology where you can change the focus after a shot is taken and lots of other really cool stuff.
In addition to his teaching and research with digital photography at Stanford, Marc consults for Adobe and Google.
