Noticed when I drove by this site the other day that this old sign is gone. Glad I got a shot before it died. Not sure what became of her.

Sad to see it's a redevelopment site. That doesn't bode well. I've been researching some of the businesses whose signs I have photographed that are now long gone. Instead of lamenting the cost of progress and the loss of gorgeous signs, the newspaper articles I've found are usually positive about getting rid of the old dumps and building something new--like a Hampton Inn.
