Marc Levoy, Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Stanford University |
by Thomas Hawk |
Marc is doing some amazing work and is at the forefront of new and upcoming technology in digital photography. Robert Scoble and I interviewed him for an upcoming episode of photwalking. Mark showed us some great prototype technology and does a lot of work with compositional photography -- where multiple images are used to create a single image. HDR is only the beginning with where compositional photography is going and Marc showed us technology where you can change the focus after a shot is taken and lots of other really cool stuff.
In addition to his teaching and research with digital photography at Stanford, Marc consults for Adobe and Google. |
