I shot the Presidio in San Francisco this month for San Francisco Magazine. You can check out the current issue (November) on newstands now for their street detail on the Presido which includes a few shots from this series.

Shots like this make a political statement one way or another. Always both timeless and timely.

Taavi the tilt is mine from the camera. Wife2Photo, very true indeed. You can't help but think about political issues when shooting a cemetery like this one. Especially because it's a military cemetery.

Although cemeteries might seem overshot by so many people I find that when I shoot them I always end up reading lots of tombstones and it is generally a somber and reflective experience for me.
