Known to medical professionals as abdominoplasty, the Los Angeles tummy tuck is a surgical procedure which removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tightens the muscles of the abdominal wall. This procedure can reduce a protruding abdomen and create a flatter, more pleasing appearance. Once the Beverly Hills Tummy Tuck surgery is complete, a small drainage tube may be inserted at the surgical site. This will remain in place for about two weeks. Pain medication, muscle relaxants and antibiotics will be prescribed and will need to be taken during the first two weeks after surgery.
