What I wouldn't give to have a view like that from my house. I love the trees surrounding my house, but I have to go down the block to see the sunset.

Yes, it's my inner City therapy. Whether it's a Pacific storm, a foggy evening or a warm, calm evening, it never ceases to capture my attention.
Two Andirondack chairs, outdoor stove (for the winter months) and a libation and I'm in another world.

i am echoing what celine said, but what i wouldn't give to have that kind of view!!!! i mean, i do have a scenic view of the dumpsters in my apartment complex from my deck, so i guess i shouldn't complain. : )

Thank you. And I'll echo my reply to Celine. Believe me, I've had your view in other places in my life. I'm lucky to have arrived at this place.

We get the sunrise http://www.zooomr.com/z/photos/zoom/3580815/size-8/ which is a great start to the day, but the sunset is somewhere behind us and over the hill.

Yeah, just the opposite for those of us that live against the west side of the East Bay hills, although I do love when the sun's in the east and it strikes and flares on the windows of San Francisco and Marin County.

Great use of the lens flare, and yeah what a setting. Nice place you have there. :)

Thanks. I like it there (see my replies to other comments)I assure you that the lens flare was quite accidental. Actually, what caught my eye was the freighter traversing San Pablo Bay on it's way up to the Sacramento River, and the layers of urbanity in the foreground.

I'd have to agree with the other comments. You have an amazing view. :)
