Holy Shit! Excuse my language but this is incredible. I seriously love this photo. Great light and vanishing point. Looks like you caught it at the right time.

I must concur with the expletive-laden lad. Great framing, and I love the shadows.

Yes, Andrew, don't talk that way in front of your Father. ;-) I appreciate your restraint, Celine. Thanks, both of you. I just took this this evening. Had a good solo photo expedition in west Oakland.

I second Andrew's comment, colorful language included.

ahhhh I love this place. reminds me that I need to get back there again. Is there still the cut out in the building on top of the platform where you can shoot the interior?

Thomas, I made inside the perimeter fence, but did not make it into the inner fenced area (terminal). I took this through the chain link on the west end. I'd love to get in there. I remember taking the train there back in the early 70's.

I love train stations, the atmosphere there is unique and there is something really mysterious in those places. The picture is great of course. It really shows the climate...

This is great. The shadows and golden tones add to the sense of age and abandonment.

Wow, the natural lighting caused by the cut off of the sunset and the earth, just incredible.
