Watching Doctor Who tonight reminded me that I recently went to the old Transport Museum before it closes this month. Housed in there, there's an old red Police call box. You can't step inside, but it's fun to see a red one. The only other ones I can think of are on Buchanan Street (often a Coppuchino stand), on the corner of Great Western Road and Byres Road, and another on the corner of Wilson Street and Glassford Street. That last one has recently been repainted blue and had its signs and windows replaced, but it's still old, red, and a little worse for wear on Google Street View. I went for a (rather chilly) stroll along the river at the Glasgow Harbour development. The new residential buildings themselves aren't so especially interesting, but they do have a lovely view of some of BAE Systems...

I finally got down here to see the new bridge over the river. ("New", but it's been open for a good few months, now.) I was surprised at just how busy it was, given that it connects Tradeston and the finance district. I wouldn't have expected many people to be passing through these areas late at night. Clearly, I was wrong.
