Less than magical foreground - but lightning always seems to make the foreground less important anyway. Someday I'll have an amazing scene - and lightning will find it's way in just at the right time. Also - dig the sodium vapour cast compared with the blue / grey of the lit sky.

The color contrast between the foreground and clouds is cool. Great capture. Lightning shots always impress me.

I love lightning because it's so easy! What's hard is being in the right place at the right time. This isn't one of my favourites - but the lightning is amazing.

To be in a place that would be great without the lightning, and 'get' a storm would be that perfect coincidence that is tough where I live. Storms are fleeting and sporadic - so I take the opportunities I get.
