This picture was originally taken during some time waiting for a charter to come in to the small alaskan town of nightmute. The gentleman here was hitting rocks with a shovel to pass the time. I think this picture makes it look like he's forlornly thinking of getting off this dump of a planet and going into space.

It was a snow day and I was feeling antsy, having only done homework inside. My friend and I went out taking pictures. She was into macro stuff, and I was more of a "step back" person. In this picture, she's taking some macro picture. This is an exciting picture for me because I entered it in the all-student art show at NWC, and I got in!
