The mascots for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games were on hand in Castlegar, B.C., on Aug. 16, 2008, to help open the town's new town hall and adjacent Spirit Square. Unfortunately for the mascots (and the actors playing them) it was about 38 degrees C at the time -- roughly 100 degrees F. (August 2008)
