Sulla sommità del vulcano non si può sostare per più di un'ora e non possono esservi contemporaneamente più di 80/100 persone. I partecipanti sono divisi in gruppi di max 20 individui + guida e la partenze dal paese sono scaglionate (1 gruppo ogni 15/20 minuti). Tutto il territorio è attentamente controllato.
