What's better than recycling? Reusing!
After I put a bin out to collect egg cartons, I've collected over 50 egg cartons to take back to local egg farmers for reuse.

This wood clamp keeps part of the patio ceiling from falling down and knocking one of the sprinkler heads off.
It's a little hard to see, but if you zoom in on him you'll see that he has a face drawn on him.

Some hard drive wind chimes I made a while ago. The one on the left also uses some copper pipe that was left over from a job.

Here's the Pirate Bay T-shirt I made using a black T-shirt, my paper pattern, and the 50% bleach solution.
Tip: Paper is thick enough to serve as a pattern, but it will curl up, so corrugated cardboard is better.

The chemicals:
Royal Blue RIT dye plus water (I used maybe 1/3 of a pack) for the dying.
50% bleach solution for the bleaching.

Assorted patterns.
There's the PIRAT, and the glove, the HACK hat, the Pirate Bay logo, and some other pieces.

I made this apron by cutting a pattern out of corrugated cardboard and placing it on top, then spraying with a dye solution.
I also used a branch and a block of wood to hold things down.

Table of bleaching and dying!
I covered the table with a sheet of plastic, then did my bleaching and dying on top.
On the right is the apron I'm pattern-dying. At the top are some of my patterns for bleaching/dying.

This is the bucket I used to dilute and stop the bleach when I used spray-on bleach to make T-shirts.
My hand/glove pattern fell into the bucket and looks kind of eerie at the bottom.

On to dying!
This is one of the tests. I'm trying a technique I found online where you use white glue, painted on heavily and allowed to completely dry, to serve as a dye-stopper.
Basically, this is a Batik process.
