He stands out there all day as part of the sightseeing in Time Square? I don't know. Seems to make quite the living. People pay him to take a picture with him! Apparently he is a tourist site there in Manhattan?! I just snapped a quick shot as I was crossing the street. And yes he was standing right in the middle of the street!

Yeah he or someone like him has been doing that for a long time. He used to be there when I was going to school down there a few years back (92/93). Interestingly it doesn't look like the same guy, I wonder if he franchised it?

that is pretty bizarre, what about winter months? must be a franchise as this life style must really reduce the life expectancy... he looks quite well built however...

haha! I wonder about winter months! Hadn't thought of that! And yes - he was pretty nice specimen of a man I'd have to say. He could stand a haircut, though!
