Every evening after nightfall, the lawns of our vacation villa would come alive with frogs of all sizes and chirps. Being a bit of a frog (and shoe) lover, I took extra caution from stepping on any of my amphibian neighbors, walking by sliding my feet against the grass and highlighting my path with an LED flashlight.
