Fireworks - 04 - Fiery Orchid

This shot was heavily cropped from the original because I got bored of the original perspective. Somehow the capture reminded me of an orchid. Fitting since National Day has just passed. TagMap: Please use the Satellite view.

Innocence

Detail

Bagmati River, Pashupatinath

The sacred Bagmati river flows on eventually to the Ganges. Public cremations take place along these banks. A little unnerving initially to observe at first. TagMap: Please use the Satellite view.

Boudhanath Stupa

The Boudhanath Stupa. One of the largest stupas in Asia. I briefly visited Kathmandu, Nepal in 2004 on an airline incentive tour. I took very few digital photos on my G1 then, relying largely on my film SLR. TagMap: Please use the Satellite view.
