We were fresh off our 12-hour bus ride to Penang and was looking a for a place to stay when we chanced upon this dim sum place, Leong Kee Tea Garden Typical of our priorities, we decided that filling our tummies was more important than finding a place to sleep. Looking at the number of people settling down to a pretty good-looking breakfast, we dropped our bags beside the first empty table we found, and plonked ourselves down right beside the street. 10 minutes later, we were two very happy campers tucking into some good old dim sum. My favourite was the Chee Cheong Fun which went down really fast with the excellent chilli paste.
