This statue of Brigham Young, on the Main Street Plaza, is part of a monument commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Mormon Pioneers' arrival in the Salt Lake Valley. The statue was also displayed at the Columbian Exposition in Chicago in the 1890s.

With more than 11,000 pipes, the Salt Lake Tabernacle Organ is the largest in the church, as well as one of the finest — and most famous — musical instruments in the world. The seats around it are where the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform, as well as record many of their albums.

A replica of the Union Pacific 119, one of the trains that participated in the "Wedding of The Rails" chugs along the rails at Golden Spike National Historic SIte past a monument to the Irish laborers who helped build the Transcontinental Railroad. There's a similar monument commemorating the efforts of Chinese laborers.
