Fireplace in infrared |
by phyzome |
My camera interprets near infrared as red, and near/mid-range infrared as this weird purple color. (Seen through 2 Congo Blue filters and 1 Primary Red.)
Notice how the flames are almost invisible. The body of a flame is composed of incandescing soot, which doesn't emit as much near-mid infrared as the glowing coals.
