Westfield again, to get my head of boxes of old slides. View Big
New pictures from here will be rare, as they now prohibit taking pictures (except family snaps with small cameras), for security reasons (right). You can apply for a permit, which I did, but they told me to come back next year.

Yeah, another extremely sensible and effective "security" rule. We all know that bad people (not to mention the T word) prefer big and conspicuous cameras, and cannot manage a friend, accomplice, or family member in the foreground of their pics.
The wait is more understandable: just opened, and I guess photojournalists get precedence over me. Does interfere with taking pics of the Xmas lighting though.

Thanks! And yes, exactly. I won't do more than this little bit of grumbling, and will politely reapply in January. The guards and PR department don't set these rules anyway.
