They are just apart from other swarm and travelling to the new place to settle. Since they had eaten enough before their departure, they are not bellicose. This phenomena happens in every Spring.
Bee-ball is as big as a soccer/bascket ball.

I added Memo above for some explanation.
Since I had camera with no zoom at that time, I had to hold my camera as close as a foot(30cm) away from the ball. However there had no problem at all.
