A white egret concentrating on the outflow of a tidal control gate in Bayfront Park, Menlo Park (even though flickr's geolocation places it in Redwood City), CA. He/she is on the lookout for small fish carried along in the water's flow.
Many thanks go to jernand for letting me borrow his Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 & 1.4TC combination for the weekend.
