How could I not photograph this Of course no ladder, the lens was not fast enough and I was not using film, so I used photoshop.

this is what happens when you do not read the instruction manual and attempt to use your camera. ie what is the macro range on my dopod 838pro the image as large as I willing to let it be, even if it was 1600x1200 and heavily adjusted in photoshop the first real photo from the dopod. even then I did some work in photoshop because I did not frame it right.

With the light running out, I was wondering what to photograph today, and sitting there was my trusty old boots bought in a thrift store (op shop) in Seattle over ten years ago sitting unloved againsyt the back step. Last worn a year ago it is time I threw them out the soles are worn through, been through snow and sand, more than a few thousand k on the motorbike and lots of gigs.
