5 people fav-ed this? seriously?

Sorry that sounded rude, i just don't see the appeal (underexposed, i know u want a blurry approach but i think its barely recognizable)

So what are you basically saying? You can have your own opinion, but might I ask to keep it to yourself?

Is it really necessary to come to one of my pictures, one that has the third most "awesomeness" and insult one of my photographs while at the same time insulting me?

I don't see anyone going around and commenting saying how ridiculous someones shot looks except you. I've never seen anyone go out of their way to comment on something they think is terrible. I mean your ego must be pretty fucking big. You could have maybe been a little constructive with your comment. But to flat out say how you completely dislike it and can't take it seriously that it could or would be faved by any of those people, one being Thomas Hawk, probably one of the best photographers on Zooomr.

But hey, I appreciate your constructive criticism, it really opens my eyes as a photographer to better my abilities.

Bad reviews can be good reviews. It means that you are doing something different. Stagnant, uncreative people have a hard time with change. I like to tell myself that.

I like your pic. I really love the little circles that were created by the unfocused light. I would suggest (but never force) cropping the lights up, to accent their reflections...? Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for the constructive criticism. I guess I need to remember that the bad reviews can be taken for good reviews, and that everyone sees photos differently.

Thank you for that, I think that actually would make the photo a bit more good looking. I have always thought that this photo was just a tad bit dark.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, every badly conceived image can pass for art. Your photograph is a fraud. You can't tell me you purposely exposed your image to look like this. What are trying to communicate to the viewers?
Bokeh?
Are you kidding me?

Well, obviously I did or else it wouldn't be up here in the first place. On this particular photo walk, I had taken over 300 photos. I chose the ones that stood out to me. Not to you. Do you think I give a shit about what you think of my photography? No. You obviously didn't get what I was trying to say to the viewer. It was to look at the world a bit differently. It's always fascinated me the way people with glasses see things wthout glasses. Personally, I have 20/20 vision, and the only way to get that effect is by a photo. Looking through a camera is looking through a different person. When I see myself looking through a 100mm macro, that isn't my eye. That is my lens. While my camera is on my face, the lens is my eye. Nothing looks the same through a camera. I wanted to express how beautiful a scene could be even when it is out of focus. Like I said, you didn't get it. Which I understand. It doesn't bother me. But like I said to the reader above. Before you start prejudging, maybe think before you speak. These photos say something to me. Not to you and your shallow view of the world.

wow im not quite sure why there are such harsh comments on this photo, there must b some angry people out there, i think its a nice representation of an unfamiliar technique, its strange how much people dont consider unfocused photography as art because they dont understand it, not all photogrphy needs to be sharp, uta barth has made entire projects from unfocused images, showing photos like memories, slightly fuzzy, where we cant make out the details of what happened im working on a project atm using alot of unfocused "unconventional" photographs to show the way i remember things from my past. this shot might not b the most typically aesthetically pleasing photo but has a feel of an underlying story. keep shooting even if angry people dont quite understand what you are doing x

Nor am I. Hahaha. Thanks Thump. I appreciate your words. And you're exactly right. If you read the comment above, it fascinates me how people with glasses see things without glasses. It must be completely difficult to wake up and not be able to see. With this photo, I understand a little when they look at something without glasses on. I guess this could be a darker representation of something beautiful to a person who does not have the best vision. Of course what I think of a photo are my feelings. Everyone has an opinion and most with a bad opinion like to share their thoughts more than the good ones. It's infecting. I'm not the one trying to get this photo to be viewed over 1000 times. There must be something people like about it.

Thanks for the comment Thump.
