The Chinese reads "for use by the blind only"

You see these tiles on sidewalks everywhere to be used by blind pedestrians but I've never seen anyone using it and this is the first time I've ever seen writing on it reminding people that this is for the exclusive use of blind people.

The old guys in the park were giving me funny looks as I was sizing this up for a photo. Was I spy perhaps or just a weirdo?

Several stray dogs were having an afternoon nap in the shade underneath this tank so I didn't want to get too close.

This is called "chicken egg flower" in Chinese. Cute, eh?

Yup it's that time of the year to eat those sticky "zong zi" some of which are vile, some of which are actually quite tasty. Those cubes you can see in the picture are soft and squidgy and made of taro and turnip.
