This is the first photo with my new Nikon D40. I've had the camera for 4 hours and I've already fallen in love with it. It's my first dSLR, so perhaps that's no surprise...
The reason I had to buy a new camera is that my old Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 was stolen last Saturday. Thankfully they weren't able to stole anything else. It was a great camera, but this was a good chance for me to upgrade to a dSLR.
