Regents Park Flower

This is one of my favorite photos. The focus is slightly off due to the wind and my lack of a tripod but otherwise I love the colors. This is an edit of my original. I used blur in GIMP to reduce the background noise. It has the additional benefit of drawing the eye to the center of the flower.

I think the focus is spot on - and there isn't that much depth of focus anyway I would guess (f/5.6?)

Very good guess! I shoot with a Sony Alpha which seems to have more noise than comparable cameras and I cropped this image a bit so the noise was evident and needed to be taken back with the blur.

I tried to steady my hand and the focus is pretty good but the flower kept swaying making perfect focus unattainable but Im glad you think it looks good! That means a lot :)
