Nothing fancy here just a simple over exposure of a set of six panes of glass with a white backing, framed with bronze. These were in a small alley, on the wall, for aparently no reason or function.

Please excuse the Photomatix watermarks. I wanted to see what this HDR business is all about and used the Photomatix trial to create this image.
Don't think I'll do any more though, I don't quite grok the process involved, though I do like looking at other peoples images.

I must admit that I can't claim credit for this shot - it was taken over lunch by my girlfriend, Sarah, when we were playing around with the new lens.
Taken at the Sand Bar in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, UK. Food was very very good, about £40.00 per head for lunch.

I'm not sure what the artifacts in this photograph are (in the lamp and dark spot in the sky)... Probably didn't have the lens hood on?

The end of the first day of the photography workshop I took part in was to do a photo essay of China Town in London. This is one of my essay photographs.

Soho in London displaying it's multiculturalism with a display of flags. I was trying to capture the flags framed in the bottom left hand corner of the photograph but it didn't work out. It's still interesting though.

Ready to Shoot - Day 61 |
My first play around with Adobe Lightroom. I can see this program is going to be absolutely brilliant working on RAW files. The base of this photo was a JPG, so not the best, and I have gone a bit overboard and its gone a bit contrasty on the far buidings. Still fun to play around with though.
The biggest job? Getting rid of all the London Cigarette butts littering the ground. Thank god for Adobe's Heal tool :)

This was another play with exposure. Due to the extreme brightness I really over exposed the photograph to bring out the flowers in the foreground. With a washed out sky as a side-effect it becomes a very nice image.

Did a photo shoot today in the "Studio". Some shots for Sarah's portfolio. Hopefully I'll be able to post some of the shoot's photographs in the future!
Whats with the thigh area of these jeans though, I look like I am wearing puffy pants or something! Last time I wear these, I think :)
