Princes Wharf tracks

The disused tracks at Prince's Wharf in Auckland.

The wharf today is host to visiting cruise ships. The warehouses that used to lie on this wharf were converted to the Auckland Hilton and a residential block.

Viaduct Harbour

Decades ago this was where a lot of fishing boats docked and the buildings were fish markets, meat shops, fruit and vegetable shops and random warehouses. This generation of Aucklanders will know the Viaduct harbour as a place of bars and restaurants and weekend nightlife. Although some may claim it's a bit of a meat market of a different sort.
