So I just got back from voting! And i thought it was fun bringing Sienna along with me. I feel it is good to take your kids with you when you vote. Show them how the system works and let them feel like they are apart of this too. When we got to the poles there weren't too many people so Sienna got to sit in the voting both next to me, and had a little fun coloring on th both with a pen that had been provided. oops! Then Sienna got to put the ballot through the counting machine. She thought that was pretty fun, and then they gave us both "I voted" stickers. All in all a very kid friendly voting experience.
