Third Position. 60 feet down river from the second position and ten feet into the river on a flat rock. I want to incoperate more of the rocks in the river.

Shutter: Bulb 101.0 sec f/3.5 Friday morning around 12:30 ~ 1:40 AM June 20th 2008. One night after the full moon. At a 10:30 PM I left camp and hiked up the left side of Lower Yosemite Falls. This moon wouldn’t rise over the Valley rim around 1:00 AM. I moved closer and further down the falls. This was my first experience taking a Lunar Rainbow.

One of my final shots of the night/morning 1:57 AM. I was tired and had a two mile walk back to camp, but I stopped to get this image as I walked down the trail from the Lower Yosemite Falls Bridge.
