AT Snow |

I went looking for the last of the fall foliage in the North Georgia mountains. While there were traces of those leaves along the road and several trail heads there was also traces of snow on the ground. Once you hiked above 3800 feet it was apparent that the snow was serious. On top of Blood Mountain there was a lot of snow. The pic here is several hundred feet from Blood Mountain's 4,460 foot summit. You could look down and see you were on an island of snow and hardly anything below had been touched.
