Actually there are billions of them in every corner. I have at least five living in my room (and I'm thankful for their mosquito-killing) - the only thing that's amazing is: Indians would never ever eat them. Hmm.

They can get up to half a meter or so.. and then someday they just smash down on the floor - in Kerala there is every few weeks an incident where falling Jackfruit kill people... - but well, they are tasty...
