McDonalds

Yes, they do have McDonalds in Argentina. I think that it's more "classy" here than in the States. Not like McDonalds could really be called classy. This was on Calle Florida.

A sign on Calle Florida advertising souvenirs. Calle Florida is a pedestrian avenue that is as wide as a normal street.

IBC

IBC, where the missions fair was held. This was around 8 o'clock AM and people were setting up for the garage sale. The actual fair didn't begin until 11 AM.

awesome Abby

I missed school all this week on account of the sinus infection I have been trying to recover from. I’m heading back tomorrow, but I’m insanely behind. My friend Abby, she’s so sweet! sent me a packet with everything that I’ve missed. She photocopied her notes, wrote out a list of all the assignments, and stuck them in this adorable pink folder. It made my day. Not so much getting the homework (hehe) but knowing that someone cared enough to do something nice for me. Abby, you’re awesome! (And to all my other friends who sent me notes and things: you’re all awesome too!)

Plaza San Martin

In Plaza San Martin. That clock tower in the distance is El Torre de los Ingleses, or, the English Tower. My dad thinks they've changed the name so I will have to find that out for sure.

More buildings along the street. I think this was the last of the shots from that area (Bus from Libertador to walking to 9 de Julio).

Buildings in downtown Buenos Aires have a nice architectural style to them. Plus, there wasn't much else to photograph as we kept walking... and walking.

I don't know if this really was the second block we were on or not. I lost count after the first 30.
