I've never seen someone do this before with a railroad crossing. Great idea!

It was an ad hoc sort of thing. I was busy taking pictures of the conveyor building when a train passed by, and I wondered what the railroad crossing signs would look like with their flashing lights and moving arms. Now I know.

Awesome. Best railway shot actually not containing a loco or a train (excepting headlights) I've ever seen.

That is beautiful! Very well timed. I like the train light exposure as well.

Thanks for the comment. Actually, that was a car that passed over the tracks after the barriers lifted.

Down the Tracks???
Did this person have a death wish or something?

[edit]
I'm an idiot and I fail at perspective. If I had paid more attention, I would have noticed you were shooting -across- the tracks, and the car light exposure was the car coming across the opposite way.

Durrrr...
Ugh, anyways.
Still, VERY nice.

the comments above don't leave me much room for plaudits, but this is what we all love to see, someone with a camera out there looking to find new ways to look at photograph things. well done!
