The ‘title’ describes the story rather than the image. The irony of an adult totally immersed in a child’s toy has the photographical potential you anticipated but the zone of interest is virtually ‘lost’ for the viewer. The idea for the shot demands a close-up but such a picture would have required you approaching the fellow and revealing your enthusiasm and creative impulse. Street photography is a great rush and sometimes complete strangers appreciate collaborating in the creative thing - sometimes not! It is a delicate dance that requires openness, good communication skills, and a bit of courage… but occasionally you’re rewarded with a great shot!
I agree… photographing irony is a challenge.
