One of the best comments I've ever received :-). This was one of my best hikes ever - after some troubles I finally managed to get to Glacier Point. I was completely alone since all trails still were closed due to snow. One of the best moments in my life.
I've been there - Glacier Point and Yosemite, but also those hikes that aren't just hikes anymore. Jealous:-) (Though I got a little dose in CH myself recently.)
The truth found in your experience rings true in your image. And don't forget Cloud's Rest, just beyond Half Dome. It's actually the highest peak in the valley and looks down on Half Dome.
